Zapier, Make and n8n
Connect without writing code.
All three tools can make a web request and wait. The pattern is the same: start a check, wait, collect the result.
The pattern
- TriggerSomething starts it: a new row, a form, a message, a new draft.
- Start the checkA web request step. Method POST, URL
https://api.chatniai.com/v1/check, headerAuthorization: Bearer pij_live_YOUR_KEY, JSON body{"text": <your text>, "async": true}. - WaitA delay step of 90 seconds. Long checks may need a second wait, see below.
- CollectA web request step. Method GET, URL
https://api.chatniai.com/v1/job/<job_id from step 2>, same header. - BranchIf
stateis notdone, wait again and repeat. If it isdone, send the verdict where you want it: a message, a sheet, an email.
Per tool
| Tool | Start / collect step | Delay step | Loop |
|---|---|---|---|
| Zapier | Webhooks by Zapier, Custom Request | Delay by Zapier, Delay For | Use a second Zap, or Paths with a filter on state |
| Make | HTTP, Make a request | Tools, Sleep | A Repeater and a Router filtering on state |
| n8n | HTTP Request node | Wait node | IF node looping back to the Wait node |
Tips
- Store the key in the tool's credential or secret field, not in the step text.
- Always pass the person's work email as
userso the activity log says who asked. - Stop looping after about 15 minutes.
