Tools and trials

Fact-checking is the core. Your workspace also includes the rest of the News Intelligence toolkit.

Every workspace, for a newsroom or any other organisation, can use these tools from the workspace menu. Use them to vet what is circulating, back up a story or prepare a broadcast.

Free trialsFree workspaces get 5 uses of each tool a month. Every use also counts toward your 100 monthly checks. Premium workspaces have no trial limits. When a trial is used up, the page tells you plainly and shows the upgrade note.

Who uses it

What is not open to everyone

On chatniai.com, individual journalists register and are approved by PIJAlance before they can use Thoth. Workspaces are different: they use the same tool through their trial allowance, and without limits once they are premium.

How to see your allowance

Open any tool page. A badge at the top shows how many free uses are left. The workspace Overview lists all of them together. Trials renew on the first of each month.

Using the tools from code

The tools run from your workspace, and from code with the same API key as fact-checking. See One key for every tool.
